APEX: FlightPath3D Reaches 1,000 Aircraft Installs for Wireless IFE Moving Map

FlightPath3D has now installed its wireless in-flight entertainment (IFE) 3D Moving Map product on over 1,000 aircraft in total. The news follows a recent announcement that the company had secured its 50th airline customer in less than five years.

On installing its 1,000th aircraft with its wireless IFE moving map solution, president of FlightPath3D Duncan Jackson said, “We’re delighted to have many airline customers flying with our wireless IFE map, including Southwest, Air Europa, Air France, All Nippon Airways, Air Arabia, Arkia, Jet Airways and WestJet.”

“Our use of personalization and new artificial intelligence will enable passengers to travel globally like a local,” Jackson continued. “For example, we’ve analyzed hundreds of millions of traveler data points to recommend hyperlocal attractions in every town and back corner of the world and even sorted them by popularity – it looks amazing!”
